Congratulations to Mary Ellen and Carl Dahlgren on their new arrival. Adam John Dahlgren was born at 1:08 a.m. July 28, weighing seven pounds, six ounces and was 19 inches long. Carl writes that Mary Ellen and the baby are doing great.

Robert Direnzo has lived in London for five years. He is still going strong with Motorola, doing mergers and acquisitions work with the home and networks business. He adds, "The kids are in school (kindergarten and third grade) and Puchka is going strong in her consulting business in U.K. and India."

Congratulations to Joan Skinner and husband Eduardo on their new arrival.

Joan still is in San Francisco and working for Genentech on the supply chain team. Joan writes: "Great company to work for but many changes are ahead with a potential takeover by Roche pending. The family also had a baby girl, Maya Grace, on May 17. She's a sweetie...and a redhead! Eduardo is Argentine so he never expected a redhead, but there she is!"

Brad Trotter was promoted to the CFO position for GE Real Estate Europe in July, which is based in Paris. GE Real Estate Europe provides debt and equity financing for commercial real estate with business centers in London, Paris, Stockholm, Warsaw, Prague, Frankfurt, Milan and Madrid.
