EMP-22

Hello Emp-22ers!

Well surprise, surprise. My plea for updates from you has not fallen on deaf ears. Thank you for contacting me. So here is what I heard.

Linda Wesolowski e-mailed to provide a brief update on her life. After retiring from Ameritech in 1996 and moving to Indianapolis, Ind., she worked in real estate. Like many, Linda didn't like the irregular income nor the strange hours, so five years ago she went to work in the family business that is a value-added reseller of time and attendance systems and parking systems. She currently handles the technical support as well as the financial and human resources responsibilities. So much for retiring Linda! Both of her daughters graduated from Purdue and are married and living in the Indianapolis area. And she is a grandmother. Can you believe it? Congrats!

Yolanata Zwirek e-mailed to say that after leaving Chicago and McDonalds in 1999 she moved to Charlotte, N.C., as SVP and CIO of a Coca-Cola bottler. Unfortunately her company just implemented a downsizing and Yolanta is now in the market to find a similar opportunity in North Carolina or return to the Midwest. Please keep her in mind for opportunities and feel free to e-mail me regarding her contact information or the others that write to me. Best of luck Yolanta and let us know when and where you land.

Richard Rosen e-mailed to say that he left Sears and has a successful antique shop on North Lincoln Avenue called Smythson Yeats. He travels to Belgium a couple times a year for business. Tough life Rich! But you deserve it. By the way, his two kids already have a bachelor's of science, bachelor's of arts and two master's degrees. I guess they get their intellectual stimulus from their dad.

Bob Walner e-mailed to say that he is alive and still living in Chicago. He did a stint with CompUSA in Dallas and either because he didn't wear boots or like brisket or maybe just that they went out of business, he is looking for that next great opportunity in Chicago. Currently he is doing project work for a Chicago law firm and arbitrations for FINRA and the American Arbitration Association. Please reach out to Bob for any opportunities that you might hear about in Chicago or elsewhere.

Lastly, Therese Waldron e-mailed to say that she is ready to party whenever EMP-22 is ready to get together. We will have to plan something soon.

I am still in the job-search mode. It is tough out there, as you can read. But we will survive because we are Kellogg graduates!

Please keep those e-mails coming! Everybody loves to hear how you are doing. Stay healthy, wealthy and wise.
