1993 — Full-Time

Rose Tsou and her husband Philip Hu, who works for JPMorgan asset management, have two kids. Daughter Sunny (13) is in eighth grade and son Sean (2) goes to pre-school.

Linda Adeson writes that she was glad to reconnect with classmates at this year's Reunion. She ran into Julie (Benton) Fleischer at a Cubs/Marlins game at Wrigley Field. Julie seemed great and was with her two kids and her husband, still living in Glencoe, Ill. Linda had a terrific summer in Michigan and headed back to London in time for the kids to start back at school.

Judy Holme Agnew is still living in the Bay Area, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge and in the sun shadow of Mount Tamalpias in San Anselmo. After 13 years in public broadcasting and running a media arts center, Judy made a move into the conservation field at the end of 2006. She is the regional development director for Conservation International, based in Arlington, Va., with field programs in 45 countries. She is loving the move into another field she cares deeply about, and working from home makes juggling home life with husband Bob, Natalie (6) and Margot (3) much easier. She says: "If you don't mind living in a super small home, life in the Bay Area is pretty perfect!"

Dominic Rispoli had a big professional change. After 15 years, he resigned from Lehman Brothers in April to join Barclays Capital as group head of retail investment banking. He writes, "I know, I know. A lot of you gave me slack for being a summer associate at Lehman and then returning for full time and staying for so long." But Dominic found the opportunity to move to his new firm too interesting to pass up. He is thrilled to be at Barclays Capital in New York helping to build their growing investment banking practice. He also says, "It's nice to be at one of the few investment banking platforms that is growing in the current environment."

Personally, Dominic and his wife Lisa are still living in Westport, Conn., and their son Corey (9) and daughter Caroline (6) keep them busy with "the fun stuff." Each summer they go back to the San Francisco area, where they lived for eight years, for a month to reconnect with friends. Dominic had to miss our Reunion this year due to a number of family conflicts so he wanted to say a "big hello" to all our classmates.

Warwick Nash and his wife had their third boy Arthur in June. He joins Jasper and Jared and "guarantees a very noisy house." Warwick is still the U.K. and Ireland CEO of Millward Brown (a subsidiary of WPP), a market research consultancy focused on brand building, media and communications. Nash writes: "I would have paid more attention in my marketing classes if I had known this was where my career would go! Overall, enjoying middle age."

Jeff Balin and his wife Jennifer are still living in Vancouver, B.C., with their three children. Their youngest, Jackson, was born in February 2006. He's being well looked after by his older brother and sister Kai (10) and Justine (9). Jennifer has been happily employed as the director of communications at the kids' school "which is great for both mom and kids." As for Jeff, he continues to enjoy his practice as an executive coach and facilitator for leaders in the corporate and non-profit world, which he's been doing since 2002 (jeffbalin.com). He writes: "This work has proven to be a very fortunate application of my Kellogg MBA and the more idealistic side of my personality. It has also allowed me to get to know and support many remarkable individuals over the years, for which I'm very grateful."

Michelle Rider founded Inspired Redesign (inspiredredesign.com), an interior decorating firm with a new office in the Dallas area. Michelle and her firm have been featured in several publications, including Glamour, Diversity MBA and the Oak Park Journal. Michelle was selected as public relations committee director for the Interior Redesign and Stagining Industry (weredesign.com). She also was appointed to sit on the CEO advisory board for the National Black MBA Association in early 2008. She will be attending the National Black MBA Conference this fall and she hopes to see some of fellow Kellogg classmates there.

As mentioned in the last issue of Kellogg World, Tina James' husband Dom Grazioli represented the U.S. as a member of the 2008 Olympic team. So Tina and the kids Lauren (7) and Dominic (10) traveled to China to support him. "While he did not medal, we enjoyed the trip of a lifetime as a family!"

Life is "frantic, but fun" for our fearless class leader, Luke Parker. He also spent a few weeks in China this summer with his family, wife Alicia and their kids Max (5), Tilly (4) and Lucia (2). They went to watch Alicia's sister sailboard in the Olympics (she finished fifth overall) and "had a good look around China. It was a fantastic trip and the children especially enjoyed themselves."

The Parker family really has a thirst for travel. In 2008 they went on skiing trips to Japan and Australia and went snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef and in China. Luke also snuck over to Las Vegas in April to catch up with Dave Darragh and Gerry Dorros for a few days. He writes: "Our stories of the 'good old days' are really improving with the telling!" When not traveling, Luke is still recycling metal and Alicia is making organic drinks. And he adds, "We would really welcome any 93'ers when they make it to Sydney."

After graduation, Alfred W. Moeckli spent seven years at Citibank before co-founding online bank Swissquote, which had its initial public offering in 2000, at the height of the Internet boom. It has since become the largest online bank in Switzerland. Alfred left after a couple of years and started working on various projects. In the past year he was involved in the founding another bank (bankzweiplus.ch) and is a member of its board of directors. In August, Alfred took on an operative role again at one of the larger foreign banks in Switzerland, called AIG Private Bank Ltd., which focuses on asset management and clients in Switzerland, Eastern Europe and Asia. Alfred joined as COO and head of assets management, products and services.

On a personal note, Alfred's son Simon is 15. Simon was born in Evanston in August 1993, shortly after graduation and before the family moved back to Switzerland.

In addition to teaching entrepreneurship at the University of San Francisco and building a career at Microsoft, Brett Bonthron is trying his hand at film production. As co-producer of "Weekend King," Brett is learning the independent film industry. He reports that "Weekend King" had a test audience of 600 people in San Francisco with great reviews and is headed for the festival circuit. Fellow Kelloggians with advice or contacts please contact Brett at weekendking@gmail.com.

I actually had lunch with Brett in August — part work, part fun. I also caught up with Sumin Eng who has recently added another sport to her list of hobbies: tennis. And Diana Chiou and I spent a weekend in Yosemite, my favorite place on Earth. I try to get up there several times a year. If you are ever in the Bay Area and want a tour guide for the national park, just give me a ring. Finally, I was lucky enough to help Hans Lidforss and his wife Irina celebrate the first birthday of their daughter Nicole. Ghia Griarte and her son were also there for the festivities.

Enjoy the rest of 2008 and keep the updates coming. I really enjoy hearing from you and I'm sure the rest of our classmates do, too. If you do a holiday letter this year, add me to the distribution list and I'll share the highlights with the class.
