The
Kellogg Black Alumni Club is turning its focus to fall and
winter activities with the goal of providing quality events
for current alums, supporting current students' efforts and
ensuring the future of our organization. The summer featured
successful social gatherings in both Chicago and New York
(KBAC in the City, a joint event with Chicago GSB alumni),
and the next several months should feature more of the same.
In addition, more than 20 alums and Kellogg administration
members met for dinner during the National Black MBA Conference
in Orlando, and the Kellogg reception the next day allowed
even more to reconnect.
Fall
also means the beginning of the recruiting season, and we
will again call upon alums to help bring the best talent to
Kellogg. Information sessions are planned in Los Angeles,
Washington D.C., and New York, so watch for communications
from the admissions office soon if you reside in one of those
key markets.
Looking
forward to next year, we will redouble our membership efforts
with the hopes of growing our online directory by 50 percent.
The leadership team began strategic planning for 2008 in October,
so we welcome all input from alums in continuing our positive
trajectory into next year and beyond. If you are interested
