EMP-43

Bernard Hines is still working at AT&T in the finance organization, supporting the network group in the five-state Midwest region. Work continues to have an air of excitement as AT&T is designing and constructing its version of IPTV to compete with cable TV. The software and electronics behind this effort are absolutely dazzling and IPTV promises to be a major revenue stream for AT&T. The product should begin to gain traction and take-off in 2008.

Joe Butz continues to have a hectic travel schedule. Most recent trip was Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam in July 2007. He is headed to Costa Rico in October and Bangkok in December. His study group (Mark Falcone, Michael Yuan, Michael Wright, David Dilday and Rich Sullivan) are headed to Vegas over the weekend of Nov. 9. We look forward to some exciting pictures from this trip.

Rob Collins has coauthored a book, titled, Doing Business in China for Dummies. The book is part of Wiley Publishing's Dummies series. Rob works for Aon Corporation and is located in Chicago. He is involved in international direct marketing.
