There
was so much catching up at Reunion that only a few have news

Erica
(Post) Rabb writes: "Alec Drew Rabb was born on April
28. I worked throughout the month of May to finish out the
Oracle fiscal year as I have been working in CRM sales since
Oracle's acquisition of Siebel. I took the summer off to bond
with Alec and am thoroughly enjoying the time with him. Heading
back to work in the fall but will be working from home with
a nanny coming during the day to watch the baby."
Linda
(Eder) DiGati shares great news, too: "We had a daughter,
Gabriella Marie DiGati, on May 17."
Andrew
McCollum shares with us: "I'm happy to announce that
Kim and I welcomed our first child, Natalie Kristine McCollum,
on May 22. Mom and daughter are very healthy and happy. Like
all new parents, we're enjoying the sleepless nights and the
occasional moments that make it all worthwhile. We're still
in Boston, where Kim is a high school teacher and I work for
Chatham Partners, a research and consulting firm."
On
July 5, Mike and Kathleen O'Connell had a little boy
named Caiden Michael. "He's doing great — he was
born three weeks early and definitely surprised us, but all
is well. He weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces and he joins his big
brother Logan (2)."
Megan
(Ainsworth) and Jay Marine are proud to announce
the arrival of Sarah Elizabeth, born on June 5. Big sister
Kate is very into her new role and loves to "help"
with the baby as much as she can. The Marines are enjoying
life in Seattle; Jay is still with Amazon.com and Megan with
Starbucks, and they have fun seeing other Kellogg alums and
their growing families.
July
9 was a big day for Reed Krider and Sara Wegmann.
That's when they had another little girl, whom they named
Olivia. Congrats to all these expanding families!
Ed
and Ashley Stubbins have left Newport Beach, Calif.,
and moved to San Francisco. Ed has taken a new position as
director of alternative strategies for Symphony Asset Management.
Symphony is a multi-strategy hedge fund, and he is responsible
for strategic business development and client relations in
the U.S. and Asia. Ashley has taken a marketing position with
Del Monte and is working in their tomato business unit. They
invite any of their Kellogg classmates to visit and stay in
their extra bedroom in the city.
In
the middle of the hectic times running his own company in
Paris for the past two years, Marc Verhaeren found
the time to get married. He and Berengere-Gabrielle, although
both Belgians, got married in France in the castle of Chambord
on Aug. 11. Kellogg attendees included: Savina and Carsten
Boekhorst, Belinda Shi, Jenny and Chip Sterret,
Irene Rizzi '03 and Arnaud Beernaert '03.
On
March 1 in Hong Kong, Stacey Ng and Ian Lacy got married.
Ian is still working in Hong Kong for Citibank in their consumer
products group. That is also where he and Stacey met. Ian
notes: "Obviously we spend too much time in the office!"
Chris
Jones is loving life in L.A. He's enjoying his job at
Boost Mobile and his family: Amanda, Taeus and Cypress. Ronnie
Frankowski continues to be a staple at the Jones house,
which the whole family loves!
Kathleen
Weaver recently
was accepted into the Broad Residency Program, a management
development program that places talented early-career executives
into full-time paid positions at the top levels of urban school
systems.
It
is never too late to share news with Kellogg World.
Darika (Soponawat) Kriengsuntikul catches us up on
the past few years of her life: "I am now an associate
director of PwC Thailand. I failed to share the news of my
wedding, which took place in 2005 and now I have a son, Natanont
(1)."
It
isn't too late to share your news, either. We all love hearing
great news whether it happened two days ago or two years ago.
Look forward to hearing from you all soon! |
