Chicago
chapter:
A
joint networking event was held July 20 between the Chicago
chapter of the Black Alumni Club and the University of Chicago
GSB's black alumni group. The event took place at Saltaus,
a trendy new venue in Chicago's West Loop, with more than
70 alumni from both organizations attending. Alumni from both
groups socialized and shared career experiences, entrepreneurial
thoughts, and new opportunities. Thrilled with the turnout
and comments from attendees, the leaders of both organizations
expect to coordinate more events together.
New
York chapter:
The
New York chapter of the Black Alumni Club met at the Ava Lounge
at the Dream Hotel in New York City on July 12 to welcome
the Kellogg Class of 2007 to New York City for the summer
and to re-connect with one another. The event was a rousing
success with more than 40 alumni participating. Special thanks
to Judy Chambers '98, Rodneyse Bichotte '03
and all of the organizers for their efforts.
Upcoming
Events:
The
2007 Kellogg BMA Conference will mark 20 years of outstanding
