Jim
Kroeger acquired another neighborhood health club (Webster
Fitness Club) in November 2005, in addition to the Lincoln
Park Fitness Center he already owned. Making a go of it as
a full-time entrepreneur with the two clubs in addition to
the commercial real estate that he owns and leases out to
other tenants at Clark and Fullerton. He will also be selling
Christmas trees, wreaths and garland for a third holiday season
on the patio in front of the gym. He'd be happy to accommodate
any Kellogg alums who are looking for a high-quality tree
anywhere from table-top-sized to 10 feet tall.
Pamela
Gozo Gutmann, Patrick Gutmann and their sons Noah
and Jonah have just moved from Chicago to Hong Kong. Patrick
will be working in ABN AMRO's Hong Kong office as the head
of strategic decision support, while Pamela will be taking
time off to get the family settled and learn Chinese.
Timothy
Freeman has accepted a position in Financial Reporting
at Altria Corporate Services. He and his wife Mary have moved
to New York.
Patrick
Cronan and his wife Kara had a baby boy on Aug. 27. His
name is Campbell Cronan and he was 6 lbs., 3 oz at birth.
Mom, Dad and Campbell are all doing well.
Joe
Dunne has a new job as development manager for Holsten
Real Estate Development Corporation. He was formerly the deputy
director of the Illinois Medical District Commission. The
focus of his new position is on affordable housing development
in Chicago.
Brian
Gallagher is now vice president of business development
for EnergyConnect Inc., a newly public provider of demand
response solutions. DR pays electrical consumers for reducing
load at times the grid is under stress. Brian appreciates
the support he's received from Kellogg alums in the course
of growing the Chicago market. Brian continues to cover the
Big 10 with a son at the University of Illinois and a daughter
at Indiana.
Steve
Wooledge was recently promoted to director of product
marketing at Business Objects in San Jose, Calif.

Katherine
Sung and her husband welcomed the arrival of their second
child, Caitlin Leung, who was born on July 19. Mom, Dad, Cyrus
(2) and Caitlin are doing well.
Katherine
has joined MRM Worldwide, a direct marketing agency, as a
regional business director responsible for Asia Pacific and
Japan markets. The family is still in Hong Kong and plans
to be there for the next two years, after which they hope
to expand their horizons to China so that their children can
learn more of their Chinese roots and experience nation's
historic changes.
Stacy
Kirincic recently started a new job. She is now the director
of strategic marketing at Accuity in Skokie, Ill. Accuity
is the official registrar of ABA routing numbers. The company
provides data and software products to assist banks and other
companies with processing payment transactions and complying
with regulatory and enhanced due diligence standards.
Shelley
Honigschmidt moved to Austin, Texas (her hometown), and
has started working as a controller at Freescale supporting
one of their fabrication facilities (former semiconductor
sector of Motorola).

Dave
Mack was promoted to director of advanced development
at The Chamberlain Group in October 2005.
Mike
Smith and his wife, Erica, were blessed with their second
baby in March — a boy, Justin Thomas. His brother Alexander
turned two over the summer. They're all doing well in their
new home of Dallas, Texas.
Rick
Pollock was recently promoted to executive director, program
management at Verety. The role is focused on software product
management for the internal applications used to run the business.
Jobi
Blachy married Marisa Crowell on Nov. 12, 2005. They now
reside in Winston-Salem, N.C. Jobi was also promoted to president
of Edward Ferrell/Lewis Mittman, a high-end home furnishings
manufacturer in High Point, N.C.
