Ross
Daniels
reports that he has continued to work for AT&T through
successive mergers since graduating from TMP. His most recent
position has been as strategic merger planning group manager
for the operations groups supporting large business customers.
He and his wife Denise have a son, Ethan (10).
Jeff
Devlin continues to reside in Lincolnshire, Ill., with
his wife Aimee and sons Connor (7) and Carter (5). Jeff has
worked for Abbott Laboratories since graduating and is the
divisional vice president and general manager of the virology
division in the company's U.S. pharma business.
Last
summer, Tim Haney accepted a position with Wellington
Management Co. in Boston as a fixed income portfolio manager.
He relocated to Westwood, Mass., with his wife and two children.
Brian
Langenberg reports his sell-side days are finally over!
While searching for a hedge fund/private equity position,
he enjoyed the summer with his family, including son Ksawery,
who is starting kindergarten, and daughter Emma, who is going
to pre-school.
Chris
Moore is building and leading the sales team for another
startup as vice president of sales with KACE.
In
fall 2004, Richard Rodes left Northwestern Mutual to
join PPM Finance Inc., a subsidiary of Prudential PLC (England,
not New Jersey), where he is a managing director in the commercial
real estate mortgage lending group.
Jack
Rubarth reports that other than being slightly sleep deprived,
the whole family is thrilled and doing well since the Aug.
7 birth of a third future Wildcat, Richard Oliver. Jack left
Bell Sports last year and is an independent information technology
consultant. He recently completed a job in San Diego, where
he connected with fellow TMPer, Sang Kang, who is still
with Qualcom and enjoying life and long distance running.
Richard
Schliessmann shares news of his marriage to Caryn Jurzak
on March 4.
Craig
Wortmann has released his first book, What's Your Story?
(Kaplan, 2006), which explores how leaders use stories to
improve their performance and the performances of those around
them. Craig is CEO of WisdomTools and lives in Evanston with
his wife Jill '96 and their two children, Hunter (9) and Van
(6).
Mark
Young is now the general manager for marketing for Microsoft's
online services group (MSN and Windows Live).
Rick
Wolk writes: "I moved from Anchorage to Juneau last
month to take a new position in the business school at University
of Alaska Southeast as assistant professor of marketing and
entrepreneurship. My classes are all online, so my students,
both MBA and undergraduate, are living all over the state
— some even in the lower 48 and in the Yukon."
