1988

Hope you're all well. We're redoing kitchens and bathrooms at home, taking the current buyer's market head-on by not selling and making our place more delightful. A lot of work and dust, but having great fun. That's all for now from me.

One hot update: Brent Koehler has taken up employment as vice president of business development at First Solar in Phoenix. First Solar makes solar panels that turn sun light into electricity, and they've got new technology that should deliver power at much lower cost than current technologies you've heard/read about up to now. This bodes well for us all. I know this one's going to pique some interests — beyond data for your kid's science fair project!

I'll look forward to seeing more input next time. I'm calling in the cavalry. There is an online broadcast service from alumni.org that allows me to send messages to all you busy-in-your-lives '88ers without me having to maintain any list of e-mail addresses. I know you're busy — I've got a lot on my mind these days for sure — so this will be an easy way to canvass you all for your latest conquests, travels or news that you're hanging in and living life. Look for that message. Believe me, everyone wants to know you're OK. I run into folks all the time and I'm unable to give updates on many of you. Team!
