The Taiwan Alumni
Club had two events this summer. On July 18 we held our “SARS is gone, let’s party” Kellogg
reminiscing night at Carnegies. Following a great dinner
of steak and seafood, the drinks started coming freely, the
music got louder and the Kellogg grads got up on the bar
to dance the night away.
On Sept. 6 the Taiwan club bid Allen Hsu and Hsin-Hsin
farewell over Xin-Jiang barbecue (those who know Allen and
Hsin-Hsin
know their ability to find great barbecue locations in the
mountains surrounding Taipei). They relocated to Shanghai
in the middle of September.
Alex Hsu (ahsu@mac.com),
a recent graduate of the Kellogg-HKUST program, has been
selected as the new club president. He
is eager to continue to promote the Kellogg brand name in
Taiwan and develop closer relationships between the Evanston
and HKUST graduates. Pamela Wang ’98, Guenter Boehn
Kellogg/WHU ’00, Jessica Yeh ’98, and Mae Kuo ’02,
among others, have volunteered to play an active role in
the leadership of the club. |
