EMP-42

I recently received word from Dan Mairet that he, his wife, Karyn, and sons, Tyler, 14, and Austin, 10, enjoyed a vacation in the Rocky Mountains National Park in August. Dan is still with John Deere and is working in the Technology Center in Moline, Ill. His current role is in the area of developing future business opportunities for the company.

Chip Mower has experienced new career opportunities since graduation. During the fall of 2000, Chip was recruited to Lear Corp. as the vice president of their internal audit function. In August he was promoted to vice president, global purchasing finance. In this role, Chip is responsible for creating a global finance operation to support Lear’s global sourcing operations. Lear, a $15 Billion Tier One interior and electrical/electronics automotive supplier, was recently listed as No. 1 in Fortune’s Most Admired Companies for Tier One Automotive Suppliers.

Alyson M. Klug has been named president of the mid-Atlantic region for Citibank. Her offices are at 1100 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. Her responsibilities include managing Citibank holdings in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. Alyson, her husband, Dov Gorman, and their two daughters will be relocating to their new home in Fairfax, Va.

Note to fellow EMP-42 classmates: Please note that I have a new email address, thegriffins2000@aol.com, for you to mail me about updates in your life. Thanks!
