Members of the Kellogg Alumni Club of Germany celebrate Oktoberfest weekend with a hike in the Alps. The group also sang, brunched and barbecued.

This year has so far been a very active one for the German club. While club headquarters are still in Munich, committees have been set up in Frankfurt and Hamburg, as well. Regular monthly TGs have been established in Frankfurt (every first Monday of the month at the Champions Sportsbar located in the Mariott, Hamburger Allee 2-10, starting at 9 p.m.) and in Munich (every first Friday of the month at the Bar Wasserwerk, Wolfgangstrasse 19, starting at 7:30 p.m.). The Kellogg Octoberfest Weekend 2002 was organized together with the UK club and the Stanford Alumni Club. A total of 55 people spent the weekend hiking in the Alps, barbecueing, brunching and, last but not least, singing and drinking along with the crowds at Octoberfest. Kellogg alums came from the UK, San Francisco and all over Germany. The traditional Christmas dinner will be hosted by the Munich chapter Dec. 12. If you ever come to Germany, please look us up.
