KH-04

Hello everyone and special greetings to our counterparts from EMP-50, 51, 52 and our international counterparts.

After finishing our last class in March of this year and going for graduation in Evanston in June, many of us are back on a normal schedule of work, work and more work. I know playtime is squeezed in there somewhere.Three of our classmates have moved back to the States. Mike Marshall, moved to Utah in August with his family but still travels to Asia frequently. Bryan Gilburg and family are now in the process of settling down in Austin, Texas, whilst our very own “Harley Lover — John Karasch” is trying to decide where to settle in Michigan (just an excuse to ride around on his Harley, we are sure).

In the meantime, Eddy Chan of Fedex has moved to Beijing from Hong Kong, on to bigger and better things. Ming Mei at Corning Owens has taken on more responsibilities and resides mostly in Shanghai these days. A round of applause for Eric Cheung, Dao Heng Bank; Astra Lam, Motorola; Claas Edze, Marriott Group and Gilbert Cheng, HK Jockey Club, who all got promotions of one sort or another. And last, but not least, congrats to Brutus Lo and his wife for the arrival of their third beautiful baby girl.

Several of our classmates — Judy Sham, David Tse and Maureen Kwok — attended the opening ceremony of the primary school building in Huo Tao Yuan Village, Tiger Gorges Town, Shangri-La County, Yunnan Province of PRC on Oct. 31. This is a KH-04 class project where everyone contributed to the building of a school for the needy in a very remote part of China.

We also have a group of “Ironmen and ladies” who trained for the TrailWalker event Nov. 8 to 9 in Hong Kong. This is the very first time a group from the KH program has entered. The group name is none other than “KH-04.”
