Rob Fore has taken a new position with the Technology Group of Banc of America Securities, the investment banking affiliate of Bank of America. He is currently working with several different types of technology companies (Internet, software, e-commerce, semiconductor and communications equipment). Rob continues to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

A recently published press release from sputnik7.com, the online broadcast network for progressive entertainment, announced that Ralph Gaines has been appointed to the position of chief operating officer. As COO, Ralph will head up the day-to-day operations of the online entertainment destination. In addition, he will serve as chief financial officer of the company.

John D. Prunkl has officially announced the establishment of his new company MetroGen. MetroGen is a new energy start-up company focused on connecting emergency generators to the U.S. electrical grid to provide peaking and reliability services to utilities, electric wholesale companies and retail service providers. Eric Stahre has been promoted to an exciting position at GE Medical Systems. In his new role of general manager and technology leader at Genomics, Eric will lead the development of new diagnostic imaging equipment that will move from traditional anatomical and functional imaging to molecular imaging. This equipment will be utilized to help diagnose, monitor and treat patients before they are even ill!

Brian White is moving again. Brian took a new position in July as director of business development with Guardian Industries in Auburn Hills, Mich. The position combines M&A work with product management within Guardianšs Automotive Business Unit (auto glass and exterior trim components).
