Anita Tang, managing director of Royal Roots Global, participated in the “Marketing Strategies to One Billion Chinese Consumers” panel at the Kellogg Greater China Business Conference: Beyond the Great Wall, held on May 18 at the James L. Allen Center. The two other panelists were Leon Bian, director of global enterprise mobile solutions at LG Electronics in San Diego, and Ann Liu, director of the China program administration at China Prep in Shanghai.
The panel’s focus was on the key lessons that multinational and local companies have learned when marketing to Chinese consumers and the impact these lessons have had on the ways they operate. The discussion was reported by Xinhua News Agency, China’s state media, in an article “International Firms Urged to Better Understand Chinese Consumers,” which was picked up by many media outlets.
