EMP-11
Richard Ross says: “My Treaty Trader wife Sigrid Reusse and I are quietly building Fidential Inc. as an international trade consultancy. We are in the in-flight-fueling years, with two in college. Our eldest graduated from Bard to pursue a doctorate in economics while our youngest is completing sociology studies in Melbourne, Australia, while at Grinnell. We give everyone our best.”
Mike Anthony launched a new venture called “Michael Anthony Speaks,” speaking at companies and organizations and running development workshops and personal coaching. Check out his website at michaelanthonyspeaks.com. Mike adds: “Hey, Russ. Ever think about organizing an informal reunion for our class?”
Don Reynolds updates: “Nothing new in Floridaland. Getting ready for the storm season. Still playing golf. Headed to Chicago in June to visit family. Hope all is well with you!”
Gary R. Cortellessa indicates that his family is doing well: “My daughter is a senior in high school and will attend the University of Colorado at Boulder, and my son is a junior at the University of Maryland.” Also, Gary is the newest member of Virginia-based Southern Title Insurance Corporation’s management team, having been named executive vice president and chief operating officer. He is hitting the ground running.
Stephen Wertheimer writes: “The latest update is that Judith and I took an around-the-world trip and had a phenomenal time. It exceeded our expectations and the people we met were fantastic. I have joined the NU New York Campaign Committee and have been working to raise capital for the new Kellogg building in Evanston. Also, I’m still a managing partner at W Capital Partners, a private equity fund I founded in 2001. We are planning to raise our fourth fund this year, so retirement is not yet on my to-do list.”
Well, folks, Mike Anthony had a question for me, Russ Luedtke, that I will pose to you: Should we organize a class reunion for EMP-11 grads? I know that some of us have gotten together with study group reunions in the past. I hope that any of you interested in this will contact me concerning having an EMP-11 REUNION. That’s all I have for news this time, but when you read this, assume that I am ready to accept news from all of you for the next publication.
P.S.: I do not have good email addresses for the following people: John Goebel, James Ketchem, Chuck Kouni and John Covell.
