Marriages: What magic lies in that Stanford air! All it took was an invitation by Omer Atesmen to Kellogg and Stanford classmate Taira Hall to attend his 10-year Stanford reunion in October 2009 to seal the deal. That they never met during their Stanford years simply didn’t matter — those Stanford bonds are strong. They married May 14 in Punta Mita, Mexico, with many Kellogg and Stanford alums joining the celebration, including Margaux Hall ’03, Jessica Donaghy ’01, Supina Mapon ’00, Allison and Johnnie Manzari ’01, Beau Peelle ’98, John and Cori Poffenberger ’00, Jon Zalisk ’00, Mark Leibowitz ’98, Reggie Norris ’98, Vivi Alyeshmerni ’98, Adrian James ’99, David Mallard ’01 and Jim Williams ’01. Taira’s looking forward to her 10-year reunion to catch up with everyone.

Births: Sridhar Parameshwaran writes: “Aarthi and I have been blessed with an adorable little girl named ‘Akanksha’ (means ‘Ambition/Desire’), who arrived into this world at 12:57 p.m. on March 3. Mom and baby are bonding great and Jyotsna is enjoying the “big sister” role, while dad seems to be coping with the lack of sleep.”

Allison and Chris Fosdick welcomed their fourth child into the world: Hadley Mae Fosdick, born at 4:05 a.m. on March 27 at just over 8 pounds. To answer a couple questions: yes, she’s amazingly beautiful and no, they are not trying to set a record. Big sibs Isabella, Luke and Lucy are very proud, and Mom and Dad are already looking forward to paying off everyone’s academic debt around 2043.

Caroline (Berman) Unger writes: Brad and I welcomed our beautiful daughter Emma Caitlin Unger on April 6. Emma was 6 pounds, 8 ounces and 19 inches when she was born. She’s an absolute joy!

Nicole and Dennis Debassio welcomed daughter Alexandra Marie on Jan. 22. Dennis comments, “Ali was 6 pounds, 5 ounces at birth with a full head of hair!”

Other fun stuff, updates: Sonita Lontoh accepted a position as head of marketing at Trilliant, a Silicon Valley-based, global clean technology leader in smart grid. If you are interested in learning more about green/clean technology, please give Sonita a shout. Sonita and Adam still live in San Francisco and are still keen on traveling. Sonita comments, “Hope to catch up with Kellogg friends around the world. Happy summer!”

Philippe d’Arabian writes: “We moved to Coronado, Calif., over the summer to live close to the rest of the family. Valentine, Charlotte, Margaux and Océane are excited to be living next to their cousins, and have been busy trying out all the new activities offered by the beach and the warm weather. Melissa continues her work as a TV host on the Food Network while also managing her many other professional projects, and I’m still working at Microsoft in product management for Windows Phone.”

Many Kellogg friends attended the wedding of Taira Hall and Omer Atesmen ’06
