Kent Smith was promoted to chief financial officer at Amble Resorts, an international developer of resort communities.

Nate Weeks Sr. purchased a franchise from BrightStar Care and started the new business this summer in Panama City, Fla.. He, Allison and their four children — Savannah, Nathan, Liam and Joe — relocated to Florida from Blaine, Wash., in June and enjoy the adventure. Nate serves as a CFO at BP’s Cherry Point Refinery. After his rewarding career in oil and gas, Nate is looking forward to putting some of the learning from Professor Steve Rogers’ entrepreneurial finance class into action.

Joe Conlon is a proud father of two: Lexi (2) and Jack (5), and celebrated his ninth wedding anniversary with Beth. He is the IT M&A program manager at Walgreens. The Conlon family is doing well and looking forward to summer trips to Amelia Island and Pentwater.
