Wendy (Hooper) Hallmark is the strategic planning manager for upstream workflow transformation in Chevron’s energy technology division. The group is responsible for leveraging technology and future-looking practices to create the “oilfields of the future” that optimize efficiency and effectiveness by enabling key upstream workflows.

Sharyle Doherty has taken on a new role at Ultimate Software. She writes: “I am overseeing our Canadian business and working with our customers in Canada as Canada program executive. I am based at headquarters in South Florida and have the pleasure of traveling to beautiful Canada every month to locations from British Columbia to Newfoundland. In July, I attended the world-renowned Calgary Stampede (the biggest rodeo event in North America) in Alberta, Canada, with Sharon Brant ’87.”

Debbie Guagliardo is CFO and director of strategy at Innovative Mag-Drive in Addison, Ill. Debbie updates, “In addition, I am the CFO and co-vice chairperson for the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST), an all-volunteer organization of parents and caregivers dedicated to finding a cure for Angelman Syndrome.”

She writes: “Many children with Angelman Syndrome are misdiagnosed as having autism or cerebral palsy. In an effort to raise awareness and research funding, FAST and Yahoo! created an educational video about Angelman Syndrome featuring family stories and interviews with doctors. Jasmine (Suljic) Hoedeman reports: “After working as an independent heathcare marketing consultant, my small business took a new turn and I am now designing and sourcing holiday food gifts for U.S. retailers. I just completed my second anniversary of the business and have added many new skills to my repertoire and really enjoy it. I feel a little like one of Santa’s elves. While the Christmas season is beyond crazy, I hope this new endeavor turns out to be a great balance between job and home. I am glad to be working again with my husband Tom. Our first business venture was during my Kellogg days.”

Todd Denison was named vice president of strategy for Underwriters Laboratory in Northbrook, Ill.

Paul Schmerold runs the North American master information software sales team at IBM. Paul writes: “Prior to that, I was an account executive at Initiate, a Chicago-based software company that was acquired by IBM. Amy and I still live in Wheaton together with our twins (7). Life’s good!”

Atul Garg started working at Tier Technologies as SVP of product management, saying, “I still live in Chicago but travel to Virginia and Atlanta for my work. Look forward to staying in touch.”
