In May, John Schlifske, Northwestern Mutual CEO, completed a three-day, seven-city speaking tour with Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media. The tour, “Econo-ME: Ensuring Your Financial Security in the New Normal,” addressed more than 5,000 financial representatives, Northwestern Mutual clients and policyowners and local businesss. The duo discussed their thoughts on the economy, the markets and how individuals and business owners can ensure financial security.

After seven years of running Vienna Beef, Howard Eirinberg has “gone Greek” and is now the president of Kronos Foods, a $120-million Mediterranean food manufacturer and distributor.
