From January to March, the Kellogg Alumni Club of the San Francisco Bay Area hosted 14 events. Highlights included:
- “A Kellogg Insight Live Alumni Session” with Professor Steve Rogers, attended by 124 alumni and guests
- “Taking Sustainability Innovation to Market,” with Uri Kogan ’08
- “Kellogg Social Impact @ Ideo Workshop”
- “The Clean Tech Gold Rush: Where to Place Your Bets in Investments and Career,” featuring Andrew Friendly ’00”
- “Clean Tech in Rail, Automotive and Energy” featuring Uday Mathur ’90;
- and a beach cleanup at The Marine Mammal Center.
The club also held mixers for alumni interested in the life sciences industry and for GLMA alumni.
Events focused on women’s management topics brought together alums on topics such as “The Feminine Super Power of Pause” with Christine Arylo ’03 and “How Remarkable Women Lead” featuring Lisa Earnhardt ’96.
Entrepreneurship, high-tech and marketing events were also part of the club’s calendar. These included:
- “Entrepreneurial Selling for Growth Companies,” featuring Craig Wortmann ’95
- “How to Grow Your Company and Take on the Behemoths,” with Jason Spero ’99 of Admob
- “Why a Virtual Dress is More Real Than a Box of Tide: Notes From the Virtual Front Line,” hosted by Stanford GSB
- and “Ten Rules for Successful Products,” presented by Don Norman, co-director of Kellogg’s MMM Program.
