Tom Pack landed a position at Cobham Mission Systems-ACR Electronics as the director of new product development. ACR is based in Fort Lauderdale and is a world leader in rescue beacon and maritime navigational products.
Jenny Guadalupe Molina-Sierra decided to go for a sabbatical in Italy for the year 2010, where she plans to take intensive cooking lessons. Gloria Guevara was appointed secretary of tourism of Mexico by President Calderon. She previously served as vice president and general director of Sabre Travel Network Mexico, where she provided products, technology, content and systems that connect travel agencies to consumers in Mexico. She was twice named among the “most influential women in Mexico” by CNN Expansión.
Mike Pulido has returned from an extensive vacation in Australia.
Bert Hucks returned from Cape Canaveral after watching the launch of Shuttle Atlantis STS-132 with his daughter Gracier, and she was quite excited by the opportunity.
Pablo Rodriguez Herrera was appointed a director at Pantaleon Group, Central America’s largest sugar cane producer, in Guatemala. He got together with another classmate, Juan Felipe Munoz, who was visiting the country. Pablo is actively training this year for the New York Marathon.
Brian Otte had a son and planned on attending graduation this summer (he couldn’t attend our class graduation as his son was being born).
Many EMP-75s were represented at Pardeep Sandhu’s wedding. Bert Hucks, Gilson Ribeiro, Didier Choukrun, Aron Leibowich, Sofia Saracho de Oyarzabal, Alex Vega and Carlton Barclay represented the "Miami Class.”
Pablo de Brito married Dany Cortes May 8 at the Hotel Quinta Real in Monterrey, Mexico. Jose Luis de la Vega and Gustavo de Luca attended the nuptials. |
