EMP-60

Greetings EMP-60. We are fresh from our five-year Reunion and we had a great time catching up with Rohit Kashyap, Vana Matte, Don Hammond, Rao Vemula, Alan Handley, Tom Marry, Kevin Hutchins and Ron Harris. In traditional EMP-60 fashion, we had the best turnout at the downtown Chicago event.

Eileen Moore and Vana Matte, both EMP-60, with Willie the Wildcat

Rohit shared some exciting news that he and Deepa and Riya are moving to London as he heads up international operations there for his company KCI.

Vana is in Oklahoma as CIO for Dollar/Thrifty and is in the process of working through a merger with Hertz.
Tom and his wife are back from China, living in Wisconsin again and are happy to be back stateside. They note that living overseas in Asia was an amazing life experience for them.

Kevin is moving from Boulder, Colo., and heading out to the Bay Area, while still working for IBM. He has a new baby at home, and would love to catch up with more classmates in the future.

Alan is teaching classes as Kellogg now, although he didn’t want any of us to know and when I told him that Don and I were going to show up and sit in the front row and watch movies on our laptops, he threatened that he would have security remove us! Ron and Carmen also shared photos of their new baby and told great stories of family life in Indiana. We missed those who couldn’t make it, and skipping my first Kentucky Derby was well worth it.
