Jeanette Cajide graduated in May with a master’s in public administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School. She summarizes her Kennedy School experience as one long therapy session. Her weekly self-reflection graded assignments forced her to dig deep within her soul for that "check +." She also graduated from the Harvard Square to the Oval Office program, which trains women to run for political office. Jeanette is writing a book that she describes as an "an inspirational satire for social change." She is looking for contacts in the nonfiction publishing and literary industry, so please e-mail her at jeanettec007@gmail.com.
Laura Kreitler became a partner at HealthySoil (healthysoil.com), a sustainable soil management company that is headquartered on California's central coast. The firm manufactures products that improve soil health and enable customers to significantly reduce their use of water and synthetic inputs (such as fertilizers and pesticides). The company has more than 100 customers in the following industries: commercial agriculture (mainly vineyards and berry growers), golf courses, landscape (commercial and estate properties) and sports turf. Last year, the firm was named a semifinalist in the California’s Clean Tech Open, a business plan competition for clean tech startups. You can reach Laura at laura@healthysoil.com.
Todd Haberkost, Juliana Priest and Shannon Jones staged a mini Bullfrog Section 66 reunion during the April 17 weekend by forming "Team Shannopriesterkost" at the MS 150 bike ride from Houston to Austin, Texas. The trio braved rainstorms, gravel roads, leaking tents, shower trucks, 4:30 a.m. wake-up calls, "chamois butter," screaming downhill, tandem bikers and too many helpings of BBQ in order to raise a total of about $15,000 over the course of the two-day, 150-mile ride. Special thanks to Clint Collins, who attached "Team Shannopriesterkost" to his Exxon corporate team. Todd, Jules and Jones would like to make the ride an annual tradition, and welcome all comers interested in expanding the team name. All ride geographies will be considered. Please contact Todd at toddhaberkost@gmail.com for further information.
There was a mini 2008 reunion at the Kellogg Hong Kong Impact Series with Wendy Kam (who currently resides in Hong Kong), Annie Moon (who lives in Singapore) and Isabel Yifeng Wang (living in Shanghai).
Kelley Staples Benson married Emmanuel Benson on July 4, 2009. The couple met when Kelley was studying abroad in France where Emmanuel was living. Classmate Nathalie Gogue set the two up in Paris, and it's literally been a “worldwind” romance ever since. Several terrific Kellogg friends helped the couple celebrate the end of their independence on Independence Day in Atlanta.
Chris Brusznicki and his wife Maureen welcomed Christopher “Mack” George Brusznicki Jr. into the world on March 24. |
