Sandy and Tony Uzan welcomed daughter Alexa into the world on Sept. 8. They are doing great in New York City and looking forward to a fun summer.
Tina and Efrain Rosario are proud to announce the birth of their beautiful daughter, Mia Josephine, on Oct. 6. The Rosario family (and baby makes three) continues to enjoy life in Atlanta. Mia is already a fan of southern BBQ and college football!
Ian Lacy, wife Stacey and eldest son Michael are proud to announce the arrival of second son Benjamin Roderick Lacy on March 18 in Shanghai. Sounds like it was a race against the clock as Ian shares: “Stacey was super efficient, as usual, delivering Benjamin in about 20 minutes with two pushes. We only just made it to the hospital! Michael is settling into the role of big brother nicely, especially when Benjamin brought Michael a new camera from Mummy's womb.” Glad you all made it to the hospital on time.
Bre and Mark Colella welcomed their newest baby boy, Braxton Hart Colella, into the world at 5:04 p.m. May 17. Mark brings the exciting details to life: “After a marathon labor, mama and baby are doing wonderfully. He weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. Milo (2) is very excited to meet his baby brother. We just hope he doesn't think he's a football.”
Jill and Jay Koval welcomed a fourth girl to their brood on May 18. Parker was 9 pounds, 2 ounces and 21 inches long. Her older sisters are glad to have a new playtoy in the house.
Beyond babies – here is some other great news from some of our classmates:
Josh Mallamud shares that he is living and working in Shanghai investing in early-stage media, e-commerce and technology ventures.
Rob Leff was promoted to vice president of finance for Fandango and Comcast Digital Entertainment. He lives in Thousand Oaks, Calif., with his wife Jen and their sons Joshua (6) and Ryan (3).
Thanks to Samantha Levine for this brief yet powerful update: “I love my job!” Great to hear Sam!
From the California coast, Aaron Levine writes: “My wife and I left the sun and surf of San Diego for San Francisco. I'm working in the area of patient marketing for a couple of biotech products at Genentech. I've seen Tom Fuchs and Mark Shedletsky a bunch of times and am looking forward to catching up with other Kellogg folks in the area.”
Neal Freeland has a lot on his plate, with “three kids, 40th birthday and running (the) product team for (an) Internet startup.”
At a new role within Discover Financial Services as director of global product development for Diners Club International, Dan Gingiss will be leading the efforts to develop and implement Diners Club network-level products and services for their franchises and customers around the world, with the goal of creating cardmember value as well as new revenue streams. Dan is “excited for the opportunity and hopes to eventually catch up with some of our Kellogg classmates abroad!”
Julie Saliba edits this update after a successful transition back to Chicago: “I enjoyed buying new boots and coats for the winter and shedding them in May for Wrigley and neighborhood festivals. The first person I saw in the office on my first day at Quaker was Amy Simpson Daly, making me feel very welcomed. My favorite part of the city so far has been living without a car (not quite the case in Dallas) and has given me the opportunity to run into Dave Cohen while walking to work and Beata Drizin Kirr on the El. Excited for a fun summer!” |
