Ofer Dascalu is founder and CEO of WiseImpact, an SEO and online marketing consulting company.

Mark Volpert co-founded Greenair wireless with two veterans from the telecommunications industry. The company has a patent-pending revolutionary technology and products that are aimed to reduce the radiation emitted from wireless devices while enhancing the performance of the system with no changes in the network infrastructure or the devices themselves.

Carine Weiner changed positions at Bank Leumi and is a senior relationship manager in capital markets.

Inas Said is CEO of Galil Software, which just closed a second round of investment.

Esther Loewy is proud that the initiative she co-founded, Boot Camp Ventures (bootcampventures.com), celebrated its first anniversary. BCV works with innovative Israeli and Turkish companies to enable them to "take off" successfully and maintain optimal control as they develop sound business models, effective marketing strategies and global partnerships.

Michael Schneck reports that his company Targia has completed two small clinical trials in the U.S. with significant positive results and is moving forward with a third proof-of-concept clinical trial.

Shay Mandel has been living in Hyderabad, India, for the last year, working for Microsoft India Development Center on a new product for managing development and testing labs using virtualization technology. The Beta 1 of the product was released in May. Shay was able to get a few Israeli customers to be design partners, including Invoke Solutions, with the help of Tal Sliwowicz, the senior vice president for product strategy and development at Invoke.

In extracurricular news, Shay reports that he has started the Hyderabad Bicycling Club and organizes charity events, races and community events to promote green commuting. Several projects are underway, and Shay is helping them take shape, with the hope of making Hyderabad a model city for green commuting. Issa Kassis was appointed general manager in June of the Palestine Mortage & Housing Corporation, the first and only mortgage refinance company in Palestine. He lives in Ramallah with his wife, Rana, who works for the World Bank in Jerusalem, and their two lovely daughters, Diana "Noor" and Sophie "Mai."
