Julia Flynn Siler was a speaker at Harvard's 2009 Nieman Narrative Journalism conference in March in Boston. On April 23, she hosted a conversation with novelist and wine writer Jay McInerney at The Commonwealth Club in San Francisco. She also was a keynote speaker at Loyola University's Family Business Conference on April 23 and 24 in Chicago, along with Kellogg lecturer Andrew Razeghi. The film rights for her book, The House of Mondavi: The Rise and Fall of an American Wine Dynasty, (Gotham, 2007) were optioned by a veteran Hollywood producer. She would love to hear from Kellogg friends. |
