1991 — Full-Time

Greetings, fellow '91 classmates! I sent this update from the Spanish Pyrenees, where my husband Rory and I enjoyed a long vacation — our first in three years. We celebrated that on May 9, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health with a doctorate in public health (hence the vacation drought).

I heard from Drew Lillie, who writes: "I haven't sent in an update in YEARS, so here goes. I continue to live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where I've been since shortly after graduating from Kellogg. My wife Anne and I have two wonderful kids, Catherine (12) and Andrew (10), who keep us busy with their many interests and activities.

"After years working in various corporate marketing positions, I've been self-employed as a marketing consultant for the past seven years and I continue to enjoy it immensely. My current project is working on new product marketing strategy for a Fortune 50 telecommunications and entertainment provider, for which I also redesigned and relaunched a national consumer referral program. Self-employment has me happier than I ever was as a corporate employee, so I am looking to continue in this capacity for years to come, hopefully.

"I never expected Texas to be my home for more than a couple of years, but here I am more than 17 years later. And while I did look into moving back to the Chicago area a number of years ago, it looks like I'll be hanging my hat in Big D for the foreseeable future. Be sure to drop me a line at adlillie@yahoo.com if anyone happens to be passing through. It's always enjoyable to see what everyone is up to."

Mark Arnold, a partner at Red Clay Capital, announced the acquisition of the operations and assets of LCL Inc. (doing business as Gray Line of Nashville). Gray Line of Nashville is the largest motorcoach company in the state of Tennessee and the 28th largest motorcoach company in the United States.
