Paula B. Pretlow was a recipient of Legal Momentum's 2009 Aiming High Awards, recognizing women whose personal leadership has broken new ground for women in business. Legal Momentum is the nation's oldest legal advocacy organization, dedicated to advancing the rights of women and girls. Paula is a senior vice president of Capital Guardian Trust Company, heading up the firm's public funds relationship management team and overseeing client relations and marketing for large public employee benefit plans. She also has taken on leadership roles in a number of nonprofits and community organizations, including the San Francisco Symphony Board of Governors, the board of trustees at Pitzer College and the board of directors of Temple Isaiah Synagogue in Lafayette, Calif.
