EMP-66
It
was great seeing over half of our EMP-66 class during our
first Reunion in Evanston. Special thanks go to the following
folks who organized extra activities to make our weekend even
more memorable:
James
Waite, for organizing our Chicago Cubs game outing; Michael
Engers, for hosting a spectacular after glow at his new
condo just a few blocks away from Wrigley Field; and Susanne
Dawursk, for organizing our early Cinco de Mayo celebration/Reunion
dinner on Friday night at Adobo Grill in Chicago. Everyone
enjoyed the food and catching up! For those of you who could
not attend, it was a great weekend. Save the date for our
five-year Reunion. I'm sure it will be awesome as well!
Here
are some updates from some of our classmates:
Silver
McDonald was promoted to vice president of sales, West
region for Schoolnet. She is now responsible for all sales
and salespersons from Louisiana to Hawaii and has moved to
San Franscisco.
Roopak
Manchanda writes: "It was great to see everyone at Reunion.
Time has flown by since graduation. Our son Rahul (2) is quickly
growing taller by the day, it seems, while catching up on
the four different languages spoken by me and my wife. He
keeps both my wife and me busy after work. Professionally,
I was promoted to VP, enterprise applications, in Laureate
Education earlier this year. I am hoping to hear and see folks
when they drop into the D.C./Maryland/Virginia area. Stay
in touch and best of luck."
