Traci Izzo was appointed the EVP of shared services and business development for the U.S. following the merger of Vedior with Randstad, which created the second largest global staffing firm.

Joe Collins was made partner of DLA Piper U.S. in January. Joe was also named The Year of the Man by GQ Magazine and Calvin Klein Fragrances.

Matt Sigg has taken a senior leadership role with Constellation Energy's retail electric operations group in Houston, Texas. He is working on centralizing their operations activity out of eight North American offices down to Houston.

Following Abbott and Takeda's decision to dissolve their joint venture, TAP Pharmaceutical, Helen Evans has been named vice president finance of Takeda Pharmaceutical North America.

Gopal Pillai moved to N.Y. last fall and joined BusinessWeek as director of product management in February.

Eric Gleason was invited by one of his customer's foundations, Starkey Hearing Foundation, to attend one of their worldwide missions to Guadalajara, Mexico, where they fitted more than 950 children, teenagers and adults with digital hearing instruments. Many traveled more than six hours for their chance to be fitted. To fit a small child with a hearing aid, being there while they hear their own voice for the first time, or when a child said 'mama' for the first time and hear mother breaking down in tears of joy was so rewarding!

In February, Andrew Craig started a consulting company called High Impact Holdings, concentrating in the IT infrastructure and call center space at this time. He's working on a divestiture project for a major airline and commuting to Dallas four days a week.
