Ron Harris and Alan Handley, both EMP-60, in their pirate garb at Alan’s party |

Rockin'
Ron Harris hit a pirate-themed party at Alan "Aarrrrrggghhh"
Handley's this spring. I came up with so many funny lines
about the photo of these two scallywags; however, none are
appropriate for printing, so you can use your imagination.
Let's
hear it for the ladies who are totally on the move! Jojo
Chesney recently wrote to us all about her exciting new
job search, and we can't wait to hear where she lands. With
a reference to our beloved Professor Brian Uzzi, she encourages
all of you to reach out if you know of any good fits for her.
Deb Nunes wrote in with her recent change and had this
to say: "I am still with Agilent but have a new role
working with merger and acquisition integration with a focus
on channel integration. I had fun in marketing for two years;
however, this is much more my core strength and passion."
She also shared her new address: 101 Windalier Ridge, Peachtree
City, GA 30269. Please let her know if you make it to Hotlanta!
Pat Harris also has a new address: 4219 E. 58th St.,
Davenport, IA 52807. She started a new legal assignment for
Deere in January of this year. Vana Matte has headed
out West to where the wind comes sweeping down the plain.
Here is her recap: "Friends, I have joined a new company,
DTAG (Dollar and Thrifty Automotive Group), as a vice president
of portfolio and delivery. Even though it is in Oklahoma,
I took this opportunity to enter into an executive role like
you all. I started my new job on March 17 (very lucky I might
say). Samuel (4) and Michael (1) are doing great and Jaya
is doing good. My new address is 2920 E. 97th Place, #2505
Tulsa, OK, 74137."
Last
and certainly not least, Tom Himmel let me know that
our own Matt Williams was on a recent episode of "60
Minutes." I watched the link and, sure enough, there
he was! Al Gore hired Matt's company to write his new global
warming marketing campaign. In the segment, they showed Matt
explaining the new campaign to Gore. It was really cool to
check him out!
I
am getting lonely in New Orleans with no visitors, so please
come on down for a visit!
