EMP-37

Tom Wennogle sent us the following update: "Hard to believe it has been 11 years since EMP-37. I still maintain contact with my group and am always interested when the Northwestern magazine arrives. I have recently taken a position with Jarden Zinc as their senior VP responsible for operations and sales and marketing. Interestingly enough, Jarden Corp., which recently became a Fortune 500 company, purchased the remains of the Sunbeam product line from our illustrious guest speaker Chain Saw Al! At any rate, lots of new challenges and opportunities."

Tom says he has been fortunate to run into Mike Lyman at O'Hare and talk with Lloyd Everard and John Sturm routinely. He would enjoy catching up with the rest of the EMP-37 class. Tom's new e-mail address is twennogle@jardenzinc.com.

Dave Webb notified me about his new position at Silicon Valley Bank. From a recent SVB news release: "Dave Webb was recently named chief operations officer of SVB Financial Group, responsible for overseeing banking operations, product delivery, information technology, performance improvement initiatives, security and facilities. Webb joined SVB in 2004 as chief information officer and has been responsible for aligning the company's information technology efforts with its business strategy."

Lloyd Everard writes that he has accepted the position of director of labor and employee relations with Textron, a Fortune 150 company. "In this corporate position I will assist the management teams at Bell Helicopter, Cessna, EZGO, Greenlee and other Textron divisions, developing their compensation, benefits and collective bargaining strategies. This is my second tour with Textron. I served as director of HR for Textron Fastening Systems North American Operations from 1999 to 2006." Lloyd and his wife, Kim, continue to reside in Crystal Lake, Ill. He can be reached at LEverard@Textron.com.
