2006 — Full-Time

Rachel Brecher writes, "On Oct. 13, I got married to Clay Daricek in Manchester, N.H. Even though it was October, we were able to have a beautiful outdoor sunset ceremony. It was the perfect fall-in-New-England setting, including the slightly frosty weather. We were so grateful to have so many Kellogg friends with us to help celebrate! We honeymooned in the Cook Islands in the South Pacific, and we live in Boston."

Su Jin and husband JP Yao welcomed Sophie Sufei Yao to their family on March 23. Su Jin writes, "Caring for a newborn turned out to be a lot more work than I anticipated but is truly worth it as it brings us so much joy to watch her grow every day. Sophie is a happy baby and we are so blessed to have her." Su Jin will be returning to work in June as director of international operations at Schneider Logistics.

Masahiro Hagiwara writes, "Masako and I had our daughter, Karina, last November. We are all happy and healthy. We spent an early summer vacation in Hawaii and enjoyed an opportunity to welcome her as a Kellogg family."

David Wittkowsky writes, "Lots of work travel this winter has meant opportunities to connect with friends from Kellogg. I had breakfast with Cristina Aquino and Ryan Thies in Ann Arbor, Mich., in March. Cristina is working in advanced product marketing at Ford Motor Co., focusing on new features and technologies for future vehicles, and Ryan is operations manager at Stout, Risius, Ross. He works under the CFO/COO of the company, touching all different sides of operations, from HR to finance to IT. In Denver, Scott Blanding is thriving in his finance role at DCT Industrial, a real estate firm that focuses on light industrial properties in the U.S. and Mexico. Scott and wife Leesa recently closed on a new house in Denver's Platt Park neighborhood, and their first child is on the way. Kelly Donahoe and wife Celeste are in Seattle. Kelly is in software marketing at Microsoft, and Celeste is traveling often in her position with SAP. In my world, Walgreens purchased my employer, Whole Health Management, in March, along with our longtime competitor, CHD Meridian. Now we're working through all the integration issues to create Walgreens' new health and wellness division."

Matt Forti writes, "Enjoying life and work here in Boston. I am a consultant with Bridgespan, helping to advise nonprofits on how to be more effective. Sarah is working for CVS/pharmacy as a marketing manager, and getting us a nice employee discount! The One Acre Fund board got together during Reunion weekend in early May at Kellogg. On behalf of all of the Kellogg 2006 board members (Diana Lee, Amy Hsiao, Jason Maga, Paul Wormley, Taira Hall and Andrew Youn), thanks to all who have generously supported us and enabled us to grow from just 40 families two years ago to 2,000 today! If you are interested in learning more about joining our "Investment Council," please visit our Web site: oneacrefund.org or send me an e-mail. Let Sarah and I know if you are ever in Boston; the Kellogg crew here needs a reason to get together!"

Jericho Seguin writes, "Eyal Karsh and I started Karsh & Seguin Career Consultants (KarshSeguinLLC.com), a high-end career consulting firm. We're happy that the venture is picking up steam, and we're having a great time getting students and young adults into some terrific careers. Last year I joined the board of the Alliance Fran¨aise in Chicago and hope that some classmates made it to our 2008 gala. Happy to report that my little sister has made a move from Wall Street to the Thai city of Udon Thani, where she is a Peace Corps volunteer; this will be a great excuse for a visit to Thailand where I hope to reconnect with some good friends and Kellogg classmates. In the meantime, if anyone is interested in some sailing on Lake Michigan, please e-mail me at Jericho.Seguin@KarshSeguinLLC.com."

The parents of Kameron Rezai '05 hosted a party at their home on the north side of Chicago on April 5 for Kameron and Alison Coleman. Many Kellogg alums from the classes of '05 and '06 were in attendance.

Ryan Thies, Cristina Aquino and David Wittkowsky, all ‘06
