1995 — Part-Time

Bill Chamberlin is part of a team at IBM Corporate Strategy that incubates cross-business-unit-growth initiatives and spends most of his time researching, analyzing and developing insights about emerging trends, technologies and business issues. For the past eight years, he has been leading an 1,800-member community within IBM called HorizonWatch, where community members meet online to discuss and collaborate on emerging business opportunities. He posts daily entries about emerging trends and technologies on his HorizonWatch blog, a "lighter" public version of which is at horizonwatching.typepad.com. He lives in Palatine, Ill., with his wife, Jennifer, and two daughters, and is looking forward to a summer filled with golf and other fun activities.

In May, Alex Reinders will mark 20 years with IBM, where he works as a consultant in application management services, supporting a global group that creates solutions to customer application management needs. Married with two sons (13 and 15), in his personal time Alex continues to enter running races (5K up to marathon distance), has completed cross-country ski races the past few winters and is the committee chairman for Boy Scout Troop 34 in Wheaton, Ill. His older son earned the rank of Eagle Scout last year. They have participated in backpacking trips to Kentucky and New Mexico and have a trip to Isle Royale planned for June.
