EMP-11

I met with all the other members of our study group in Chicago a few weeks ago. Present were Penny Bordsen, Joe Perotti, John Leasia, Ron Nicholas, Mike Ryan and I. What a time we had going over old times and catching up on the latest news from everyone. We had not all been together since our EMP days. That's let's see, how many years? Where's my calculator? This meeting and Penny's writing poetry, made me think about how we have changed and it produced the following lines:

EMP-11 was made up of so many various troops, They broke us up into smaller study groups. We got together after all these years, My, what two decades will do to careers. Penny was the first to follow her heart, writing poetry was one thing to start. Joe was our Allen Center accounting resident. Knew no marketing, but now is Corp Helix president. Mike was our group's banking financial wiz-zard. Now texed out in a Stetson, we call him pard. Ron, who worked for Libby and was quite well diverse. Now has a CDL license, and he could drive your hearse. Russ has reached much more than maturity, And yet still dabbles some in home security. John was our bachelor and seemed to love campus life. He took a new job in Michigan and found a nice wife. There you have it, our training at Northwestern in BIZ, and now we all have moved on and we "is what we is!"

I also met this spring with Denise Guardino and Tim Baker for dinner in Chicago and we had a wonderful chat. Their daughter Lauren will be off to college this fall.

That's news from my perspective, so if you want to slant EMP-11 news, you can call or e-mail me with your latest escapades.
