"On April 22, Kellogg alumni from the South Florida club enjoyed an excellent Second City show at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. The Second City troupe was on a rare tour in Florida. Kellogg alumni from Miami to Boca Raton could not resist the temptation of spending an evening with these talented and funny Windy City actors.

"Bernardo Araya organized the event with the support of the current board. In past years, most of the events and networking activities of KACSF have taken place in Miami, where alumni concentration is higher. With new members of the board who are residents of "northern" suburbs, we are now trying to reach out to Kellogg alumni living in Broward and Palm Beach counties. This event was one in a series planned to bring the Kellogg Club of South Florida a little up north — north of Miami, that is.

"The Second City show attracted 12 participants associated with the club and was enjoyed by all. Kristin Barbieri '97, Bernardo Araya '88, Doug Stein '04, Teri Pacheco '01, Jerome Longbottom '03 and Heather Garnes '93 were among the attendees.
