New
York
Alumni
Club of New York (KACNY)
The
Kellogg Alumni Club of New York is in full swing in 2006.
Ever pursuing our mission of providing relevant and entertaining
events for our alums, the club has hosted several great events
thus far.
This
spring and summer, the club has joined with several other
alumni groups, including the New York Business School club,
which hosts All MBA happy hours throughout Manhattan. As well,
Kellogg and the Columbia Business School alumni club have
co-hosted several networking functions. In June, Kellogg and
Wharton alumni also joined forces for a joint happy hour.
We owe a debt of gratitude to the fearsome leadership of the
TG-NY team, specifically Karen White '04 and Kristen Mitchell '04, for keeping KACNY
members in the mix with each other and our fellow New York
City MBAs.
KACNY
will host Dean Jain in June. This event promises to be a superb
opportunity to interact more personally with our dean. This
summer, the club will also welcome Kellogg interns to the
New York area with a welcome reception and a few special events.
As
always, the club continues to look for additional leaders
and volunteers to help shepherd us through the rest of 2006
and beyond. Our president, Barbara Close '99, has
worked diligently to keep our calendars full and the events
pertinent to our members. We look forward to seeing new and
returning faces at every event.
