Alumni Club of Austin

The Austin Alumni Club has been "under the weather" recently.

Just four days after Hurricane Rita hit the Texas coast in September, a small group of alums gathered to celebrate Worldwide Welcome Week with other local alums and new students from the area. Many area alums gave time and resources to house displaced family and friends and volunteer at the many shelters that popped up around the city to host more than 300,000 refugees from the coastal areas.

In April, two dozen area alums literally dodged a storm with golf-ball sized hail to attend our spring social gathering and meet incoming students from the area.
