EMP-54

Editor's Note: The first five items were intended for inclusion in the Spring 2006 issue of Kellogg World. We regret any inconvenience caused by the delay.

Tiffany Brown gave birth to a 5-lb., 6-oz. baby girl, Isabella Aubrey Green, on Nov. 22. Baby and mom are doing great!

Kate Daily moved to Krakow, Poland, in April! Still with International Paper, Kate is now managing customer service in its global customer service center. She's found a great place to live and encourages visitors. Fellow teammate Mike Kennedy and his wife Nancy flew down to Memphis to surprise her for her birthday/moving-to-Poland party. Mike, still with Harley-Davidson, recently moved back from England to Milwaukee.

Mike Clay and his wife Jodi are proud to announce the birth of their third child, Eva Patrice Clay, who was born Jan. 24, weighing in at 7 lbs., 4 oz. and measuring 19 inches long.

Charlie Kinas and his wife Sherry built their dream home in Germantown, Wis. His teammate Ray Quatrochi is also building his dream home with his wife Sherri in Northville, Mich. Both Charlie and Ray welcome visitors.

Rebecca Liebert continues to do great things at Alcoa, and is now the president of Reynolds Food Packaging.

Ernita Johnson is doing very well and sends her best. She is still with Ford, but has now moved to Denver for a short stint. Although she doesn't ski, Ernita welcomes visitors.

Rana Altenburg reports that she was fortunate to tag along with her parents and brother on a trip of a lifetime in March to the Middle East: "The 10-day journey included stops in Jordan, Israel, Palestinian Territories and Egypt."

Brad Frank has another book coming out in July titled Bird Flu: Expert Advice to Help You and Your Family Stay Safe. It's a comprehensive, up-to-date and practical book on what individuals can do to prepare for a bird-flu pandemic.

Dani Golan and his family vacationed in Costa Rica this past March. He highly recommends it as a travel destination.

Kevin Harris reports that all continues to go well with his family and at BP as the general manager of the global Naphthalates business. In case you're wondering, Kevin makes the stuff that eventually goes into flat screen TV's, high-performance tires, juice bottles, etc.

Lora Rosenbaum is now working in development at Big Brothers Big Sisters in Milwaukee. Lora encourages us all to "Be a lot to a little. Be a mentor! The life you change may be your own."

Tony Sardella has been named CEO of Evolve24, an analytical research company specializing in measuring the impact of non-market factors such as sociopolitical issues on corporate or brand reputation. With offices in Chicago and St. Louis, the firm provides clients value through early issue warning, issue risk assessment and most notably predictive capabilities for anticipating impact on financial metrics.

George Baus recently accepted a position as general manager of Industrial Engine Drive at Miller Electric in Appleton, Wis.

Members of the EMP-54 Wisconsin Group gathered in May to welcome Dean Dipak Jain to Milwaukee for a Kellogg alumni reception. Maureen Bryan, Lora Rosenbaum, George Baus, Rana Altenburg and Joe Dalum had a fabulous time. Kellogg still does a great job with cocktails and appetizers! If Dean Jain or Kellogg reps are ever in your city, you should definitely support those events.

Mark Thomas and family will be relocating from Dallas to Atlanta this summer. After nine years with Pulte Homes Inc. serving as Texas-area president, Mark accepted the chief operating officer position at Ashton Woods Homes. Mark, Lynne, Grant and Andrew will move to the Alpharetta area immediately following the school year.

REMINDER: Saturday, Aug. 19, is the date for the 4th Annual EMP-54 Wisconsin Group Party. All EMP-54s and significant others are welcome. For details, contact Rana, Maureen (mbryan2003@northwestern.kellogg.edu), or Joe (jdalum2003@northwestern.kellogg.edu). See you there!
