Several of our classmates came back to campus to participate in our five-year reunion festivities in May. The weekend's activities included opportunities to get back in the classroom with some of our favorite professors, a school update from Dean Jain, a Friday happy hour, a Saturday-afternoon barbecue and an EMP reunion dinner at the Allen Center, which featured a very popular Delta 7 martini (no kidding). Those attending events over the weekend included Zul Jiwani, Don Versen, Bo Kemper, Marlin Underwood, Deidra Gold, Gautam Roy, Paul Beaupre, Kim Reome, Augustin Mason and John Toher. Augustin clearly won the award for "most dedicated alum" by participating in the entire weekend's activities, including the Sunday morning run along the lake after being at the EMP dinner rather late the evening prior. It was great to see everyone and catch up, and especially good to hear how many of our classmates still stay in touch after five years.

In career news, Barry Metzger recently joined optionsXpress as chief executive officer of its brokersXpress subsidiary. His new company is a brokerage platform catering to independent registered representatives and investment advisors. Barry will be responsible for the company's growth strategy, including sales and marketing, recruiting and continued product enhancements. Holly and Barry also recently welcomed Ella Joy Metzger to their family. Ella joins sister Claire and brother Jay.
