EMP-24

Mike Lepore is executive vice president of the institutional lending division at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. The group is the second-largest of its kind in the U.S. mortgage finance system, with approximately $900 million in revenues this year. Mike has been with Wells for more than five years, and lives in Des Moines, Iowa. Mike's son (also named Mike) is a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, decorated for his service in Iraq and presently in flight school, flying the F-18 Hornet. Mike's daughter Lynne is a clinical social worker, working in the ER and the oncology ward in a hospital in Los Angeles. And Mike's youngest daughter Nicole is a graduating high school senior, who will attend Iowa State University in the fall. Mike and his wife Jo look forward to the transition to being empty-nesters. Mike wishes all of his EMP-24 classmates the very best.

Jim Wuellner and his wife Jan relocated to Duluth, Minn., this past year. He had lived in my Chicago suburb, Carol Stream, for many years. Jim is working at a tertiary hospital system in the "Northland." Jim's son and daughter are off on their own now. His son Mark is married and living in Indianapolis, and his daughter Laura graduated from college and is living in Australia. Jim and Jan are wondering if this temporary empty nest will become a permanent thing.
