A report from Doug Berg: I have recently joined Veolia Environmental Services Technical Solutions as chief financial officer. We are a subsidiary of a large French company, Veolia Environment, headquartered in Paris. My office is in Lombard, Ill.

Our business is a $325 million nationwide operation that recycles or disposes of hazardous waste from manufacturers such as pharmaceutical and electronics firms.
