Bill Angrick rang the opening bell of the NASDAQ on April 13 on behalf Liquidity Services Inc., of which he is the chief executive officer. Along with the LSI senior management team, Angrick represented the company and its marketplaces during the ceremony. The company's IPO was official on Feb. 23 and was the third largest of only 10 IPOs in the United States for the first quarter of 2006.

Nikoa Evans is hard at work in Harlem, N.Y., on her entrepreneurial venture, N. The 4,000-square foot clothing boutique carries designer clothing for men and women as well as select pieces from Harlem-based designers. Nikola and her two business partners all own homes in Harlem.
