1988

I just heard from Tony Overton. You might recall that he was managing Madison Square Garden previously. In an uncanny move from sports to politics, he's been working in Washington, D.C., at none other than the executive office of the president of the United States as director of facilities. What a gig. He's having a ball bringing a commercial perspective to the role. Not your typical facilities job. There's the strategic stuff, like setting up public events centered on the press briefing room, and then the double top-secret stuff, secret squirrel, can't tell you, etc.

Tony says Cheryl Green has a consulting practice called The Green Resource Group. She's working on strategic organization design and senior management planning. He also said Ken Watson's put four kids through high school, his last one graduating now, which means all of us are old! Lastly, he heard that Mike Bender was at Victoria's Secret. Not the store, working at the company. The store is nice too.

Anyhow, busy traveling, so I have to cut this short. I'll be recruiting help to chase after you '88-ers so we can get caught up on all of you who want to write but are really busy with kids and your wonderful '88-er lives.
