1940s

Morton Smith of Chicago is retired from Yale Engineering, which packaged for the Illinois Tool Works. During World War II, he served with the 96th Infantry Division in the Philippines. He and his wife Lois enjoy their family of three children and three grandchildren.

James Wolter of Northbrook, Ill., is a retired stock broker, now active in drama activities at the North Shore Senior Center in Northfield. He and his wife Helen have two children and three grandchildren, and she serves in a camp for disabled children.

William Aiston of Deerfield, Ill., has retired from the Intercompany Group of Companies. He and his wife Jean, a Beloit graduate, have a large family of 10 children, 17 grandchildren and one great-granchild.

Edward Arvey of Highland Park, Ill., served in the U.S. Navy for many years. He then worked for and is retired from Glenview Consulting in Prospect Heights. He and his wife Estelle Shapiro '50 have enjoyed traveling in Florida, Europe and Wisconsin and have two children and four grandchildren.
