TMP 2001

Congratulations to Mark Cress, who writes that he and Amy Sabo TMP 2002 were married June 5. He met Amy on a Kellogg GIM trip to Australia. Their mutual love for travel spurred a break from their careers and a six-month honeymoon. The couple visited 14 countries before returning home in December.

Maura Tribble reports she's had a few changes this year. First of all, she moved to Millennium Pharmaceuticals from Genzyme to work on early-stage commercial strategy and portfolio prioritization. She also reports she met and is seriously dating John Brescia and that she has bought a house. Quite a year!

Lisa Snyder and Mark welcomed their second son, Alexander John, on March 10. He was 9 pounds, 2 ounces, and 21 inches long. Lisa remains an IT director at Barton Inc., a division of Constellation Brands.

Michael Cox writes that he had a pretty big change occur this year. After the birth of second daughter Kelly, he was bitten by the entrepreneur bug, quitting his job in January to start a new company, Concierge Car Service. The company is focused on luxury automobile rentals in the Chicago market and has just started operations renting Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Range Rover, Hummers, etc. The company's Web site is undergoing a facelift that, hopefully, will be done this month at conciergecarservice.com and ccschicago.com.

Brian Chu also was paid a visit by the entrepreneur bug, starting Bastion Consulting, which provides part-time CFO services to companies that can't afford a full-time CFO. Away from work, Brian and wife Meg keep very busy with their three boys — Sebastian (5), Nicholas (21 months) and Alexander (7 months)!

After more than seven years at UBS Investment Bank, Yury Dubinsky recently joined the Debt Technologies Group at Bank of America in Chicago. On the home front, daughters Anna and Nina just turned 1 and son Leo seems to define (and enjoy) the "terrible twos"!

Enjoy the summer and don't forget to send in all your news
