Allison Clark Brown writes: "I live in San Rafael, Calif., with my husband Tom and children, Chessa (5), and Maxwell (3). This past winter I ended my banking career and took a hiatus to redirect my work toward something I am passionate about. I have just joined my husband working for Northwestern Mutual Life. My goal is to empower women to achieve their dreams based on the awareness that they are financially secure. I'm really looking forward to work that excites me and to having a flexible work schedule with a sympathetic boss."

Steve Johnson recently joined Kintera, a public software company providing fund-raising solutions for nonprofits, as vice president of channel sales. Prior to his new role, Steve accumulated 18 years of senior-level technology and customer-relationship management software sales experience for high-tech companies such as Scopus Technologies and Apropos Technology.
