Denis Blackburne has joined Melaver Inc. as CFO. He started in mid-April and will relocate to Savannah, Ga., with his family this summer. Melaver Inc is a sustainable property development and management company that is active in the Southeast.

Thomas J. Ward has been promoted to president of the diagnostics and information group and elected a vice president of Snap-on Inc. In his new position Ward is responsible for a number of businesses that focus on products and services for the global automotive aftermarket and original equipment manufacturers. Snap-on Inc. is a leading global innovator, manufacturer and marketer of tools, diagnostics and equipment solutions for professional tool users. Founded in 1920, Snap-on is a more than $2 billion S&P 500 company headquartered in Kenosha, Wis. The firm employs approximately 11,500 people worldwide.

John Teeple has been promoted to business unit manager for 7000 series tractors with John Deere's agricultural equipment division.
